"I am a High Priestess of the Old Religion. If you think you can defeat me, then come hither. Let us see how painfully you die, Emrys."
- Ceridwen

Cerridwen is a mysterious and immortal sorceress, a High Priestess of the Old Religion and the woman who taught Morgause everything she knew about magic. She has lived almost as long as the Great Dragon, and has an immense knowledge of magic that few can hope to match. She survived the Great Purge by hiding on the Isle of the Blessed, and has frequently communicated with the Cailleach in order to tell the future and to know her enemies.

Biography Edit

Personality Edit

Cerridwen, as a young woman, was apparently prideful and contemptuous to an extreme. She is noted to have had a child out of wedlock, and to have hated that child his entire life because of his physical deformity and lack of any intelligence, to such an extent that she tried to create a potion that would increase his wisdom beyond human standards. When this backfired, she experienced a depression and killed him in a violent rage. Ceridwen appears to have matured since then, and does not normally lose her temper to anyone.
